Now the formatting, font, coloring, etc are all subject to MUCH change at the hands of our awesome graphic artist, Kelly Poe, but this will give you an idea…… So the purpose here is to help shape the listeners thoughts about each section of the EP. Instead of trying to write something I thought about finding old quotes that resonated with me when I thought about the Prelude, Part one, Interlude, Part Two, and Postlude tracks……
I hope this perks your interest a little. 😉

:: prelude ::
I can endure my own despair, but not another’s hope. ~ William Walsh (c 1680)
part one
The real problem is not why some pious, humble, believing people suffer,
but why some do not.
~ C. S. Lewis
:: interlude ::
Our fading spring is in dull winter lost.
Since then the Night hath hurl’d / Darkness, Love’s shade,
Over its enemy the Day, and made
The world just such a blind and shapeless thing
As ’twas before light did from darkness spring,
Let us employ its treasure / And make shade pleasure:
~ Jasper Mayne (c. 1650)
part two
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” ~ Arabian proverb
:: postlude ::
“All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost;
the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, a light from the shadows shall spring;
renewed shall be blade that was broken, the crownless again shall be king.”
~ J. R. R. Tolkien
